Our very first post… Beef Wellington

Well this was a first, taking hours of work, but all the worth it. A Fantastic beef Wellington with a succulent filet wrapped in San Daniele prosciutto coated with an herbaceous wild mushroom pâté and housed in a buttery flaky puff pastry. The textures and flavors were of par to any epicurean of food. Out of this world. Paired with a deep plum and dark fruit Cabernet from Napa. Rich leather and austere tobacco blending with the intense flavors of perfection. Pinot gives it 5 cheeps 🙂
